We Fix the Broken Conversation Between Operations and Business
ImpactLink was born from frustration. Our founders led operations at companies where infrastructure outages and their business impact lived in completely separate universes. We built ImpactLink to bridge that gap.
Our Mission
Make operational intelligence the foundation of business decision-making.
The Vision
A world where every ops team can instantly answer: "How is this infrastructure event affecting our business right now?" No manual correlation. No data silos. No guessing. Complete visibility into the relationship between what's happening in your infrastructure and what it means for your customers and revenue.
The Opportunity
Today, teams spend weeks reconstructing incidents and estimating impact. They discover correlations manually. They repeat the same root causes monthly. Finance and ops never align on reliability ROI. This disconnect costs billions across enterprises globally—in unquantified downtime, delayed decisions, and missed prevention investments.
How It Started
The real problem that led to ImpactLink.
2019: The Incident That Changed Everything
Our lead founder, Sarah, was VP of Engineering at a rapidly scaling fintech company. During a payment processing incident, the ops team identified a database failover issue within 20 minutes. But it took finance 3 weeks to calculate the revenue impact. Product never knew which customer segments were affected. The exec team couldn't answer "what was our real loss?" for months. An infrastructure problem that was solved in under an hour took weeks to understand business-wise. Something felt fundamentally broken about this process.
2020–2021: The Search for Existing Solutions
We looked for existing tools that could correlate infrastructure events to business impact in real-time. There wasn't one. Incident response platforms focused on alerting. Business intelligence tools focused on transactions. Infrastructure monitoring tools focused on metrics. They were all looking at the same data but from different angles—and never talking to each other.
2021: We Started Building
Sarah partnered with two former SREs (Tom and Maya) and a data engineer (Alex) to prototype a platform that could ingest events from anywhere—monitoring tools, application logs, business systems—and correlate them automatically. The first version ran on a laptop. By month two, we had 8 early customers running it in production. We realized we'd found a real market gap.
Today: Building for the Enterprise
ImpactLink is now deployed at 120+ companies ranging from mid-market SaaS to Fortune 500 enterprises. We've processed over 2 billion infrastructure events and have helped teams prevent an estimated $400M in downtime losses. Our focus remains the same: make the relationship between infrastructure and business completely transparent.
What We Stand For
Our principles guide every decision we make.
Transparency Over Complexity
We don't believe in black-box algorithms or hidden correlations. Every incident correlation is explainable. Every impact calculation is auditable. Your data is yours—exportable and portable.
Integration, Not Replacement
We live alongside your existing tools. We don't force you to rip-and-replace your monitoring stack. ImpactLink connects to what you already have—or sits atop it if you're in transition.
Business Impact First
We measure success in revenue protected and downtime prevented. Not in false-positive reduction alone. Not in alert volume reduction. We optimize for what actually matters to your business.
Ethical AI and Automation
Our AI models are trained on real incident data—never on synthetic workloads. We're transparent about model limitations and accuracy. We never replace human judgment; we amplify it.
Accessibility to All Roles
Operations, finance, product, and executive teams should all understand incident impact in their own language. We build for the whole organization, not just engineers.
Continuous Learning
Every incident teaches us something. We help teams extract patterns, learn from history, and predict failures before they happen. Reliability improves over time, not just after incidents.
Meet the Team
Built by operations engineers who've been exactly where you are.
